New PB update 16/8/2012
Its has been busy year for the team building and prepping the other Time Attack Cars, so it was about time we started on a new project car.
The decision to build a drag car was different to what we have been used too for the last couple of years focusing on circuit and time attack. It's certainly a challenge to say the least.
The ultimate goal for this drag car is to break into the 10sec barrier and claim Australia's quickest Honda All Motor. High expectation to say the least, but we like challenges and thrive off it. We have set out a timeline to acheive this and it will be over a 1-2 year development plan
I thought i created a build thread to illustrate the steps that were taken when building the drag car. There's not much to it really, buy a chassis, strip out all unneccessary weight, put in a big motor and big fat slicks
The car was debut this passing wednesday at WSID 11/7/2012 with its first shakdown outing. The car ticked all its milestone for the first outing. There was a few small issues like any car with a full build, but we'll be out there again next week to get more seat time and feedback
