    JDMaccessories K24 EK build...

    Hi Guys,
    ***KEEP-WATCHING***

After hours of deliberation between me & marcus
we have decided to go for the ek over the eg
we have now found a donor,

    Untitled.jpg

after a few weeks of a standard ek doing our head in we modded it slightly

    civbangs.jpg

threw a lip and some stickers on
a set of ogs we had at our workshop
and a benen tow hook which i never knew we had

    civbangers.jpg

then we thought F7 would look the part with these wheels so in they came

    next was the motor

sourced everywhere for the cleanest k24 with the lowest ks
then came across this lil one from a 2007cl with 27XXXkms

    CIVICBRAH.jpg

since we had a standard 6spd euro box
we filled it with a wave track lsd

since that has been done last week the poor car hasnt been touched
    lol

but waiiiiiiitttttt our headers came in but im not sure why i was this happy

What work are you planning to do to the engine? Bolt ons, internal, head swap?

What year model is the engine?

Who are you getting to tune it?

What sized exhaust are you running?

Are you doing the work yourself?

PLEASE don't make this a "teaser thread" or anything lame like that. Give us the info so some of the members can give you input into what you plan on doing (You'd be surprised how many members have experience with either k-swapping or K24's)

                    Nice update guys

Toda ITB's sound interesting. Sounds like it'll be a good build and it'll be interesting to see what numbers (HP & 1/4mile) with a internally stock motor.

I'd also recommend that you look into changing the oil pump to a K20 unit. The K24 one might not be able to do what you guys want it to do.

I know what World Time Attack Challenge is. Time Attack is just a type type of racing.

cant wait to see your results with skunk2 cams. you listed skunk2 cam gears, is this int/exh?

                              still using oem chain tensioner?
