**Dnapol’s DC5R Build, MOONSR Legend Lives On**

    Hey guys,

Some of you may know me, I joined the forum around October 2010 aged 17 when I decided I’d like to be apart of a great car community. Many may have seen my coverage of certain car related events on this and other forums.

My background in racing has been a long one, started karting at age 7 then moved to cars at 12 competing in motorkhana championships (won the 2010 Junior Championship season) and then moved on to track racing in 2009ish.

My dream was a CW DC5R, low kms and well looked after. This is when a certain MOONSR legend came into my life. Through friends I met Bennet, the owner of the beast. He was wishing to move on to his Civic build and gave me the opportunity to snap the DC5R up, I did this without hesitation It is a 2002 Nov' built DC5R with 73,000km on the clock

So I became the brand new owner of the MOONSR CW DC5R (minus the plates) and the car was bone stock except for:

    JDM Visors
    Exedy Organic Heavy Duty Clutch

The car looks very clean sir. You could have cleaned the number plate surround before you put your plates on though .

i really only did karting by going to the tracks (rather than owning my own kart) however I used to go literally every weekend (lap record at phillip island for a while)

but not anymore, i sorta retired from karting (making it all dramatic like schumacher leaving racing) iv moved to real cars now

Can't understand why the dash needs to be removed in order to install a headunit. But going very good so far. Don't make mistakes like I did and bought a Hasport 70a mounts and end up changing to a J's Racing mounts LOL.
