    <nsw> intro daelo's DC5 TYPE R

hey fellas new to the site but been asking heaps of questions trying to fix the problems i have atm but thought i should give you guys a bit of an intro

the names Dael, and last week i treated myself and bought a 2001 silver dc5 type R

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

It was a bit different from my last few cars which were hiluxs as i was into the minitruckin scene, but thought that v-tec cars were amazing after going in my mates vtir prelude.

anyways back to the car, it had been out of rego nearly a year and had a few problems from just sitting around which were........

-after warming up the idle would go up to 2000 then back to 1500 rpm continusly which was rather frustrating but after a whole day of pull shit apart and cleaning the TB draining the fuel putting a nice fresh tank of premium in it and giving it a good run cured that problem.

-engine light on so plugged it into the good old snap on computer and found out the front co2 sensor which is the air fuel one was frozen and had a fault which explains my poor fuel econonmy so getting a new one this week and change that over and hopefully happy days

-has a deep scratch on the bonnet that i need to get fixed up waiting on a mate to get back to me about that

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

she has had a little bit done to her like
    -high flow cat
    -verex muffler
    -sony head deck
    -tweeders in the doors
-Injen Cold Air Intake to the bottom bar
    -king springs all round
-cusco strut brace at the front
    -heavy duty clutch
    -new break pads all round
    -two new front rotors
few other bits and piece that i have probably forgot

so yeh look forward to meeting up with some of you guys do you have like a monthly get together and stuff?

and ill chuck up some better pics when its not raining and i give it a real good clean

    cheers fellas

as for the bonnet getting done as much as i dont like carbon fiber hoods and apperntly there illegal? (correct me if im wrong)
how can you go past this?
