Brandon does she still see street duties, if not, what modifications have pushed the car over the line?
Honda Nationals, September 9-10, get amongst it!

The car is still street registered, for nationals was towed due to splitter and straight pipe, but will be returned back to normal and be street legal

I think it might have broken Wakefield parks street registered recored? i belive Jimmy Trans Evo 8 MR held this with his impressive 1:04.1, if anyone has more info let me know!

Has to be soft, because you drive it sometimes

Thanks man, was very suprised at how well it matched/beat the Insight Motorsports S2000 around the track. Considering that car does a 1:37 at EC!

I would love to vist EC, but might not have time for it this year, seeing how i go at EC in 2012 will determine if i consider entering WTAC. I think the car will be well suited to EC with its flowing corners and long straight, would aim for sub 1:40's. But then again, i've never really driven around EC, other than my first ever track day, where i got a total of 6 laps, so who knows.

                          Update:

BYP Sponsored DC2R edges out Insight Motorsports S2000 driven by John Boston to win Honda Nationals 2011!

What an event this was, by far the best event i've attended including WTAC, was run very well, with heaps of track time, minimal inncodents and of course the quickest and finest looking Honda's from Australia.

This was the first time the car was driven on decent semi's and boy did it respond to the massive 255 A050 (M) tyre. From the First session till the last session, with both drivers (me and benson) the car was awesome, the new hawk brake pads were alot more agressive than the old ds250's and helped us push the car to the limit. Top speed recorded was 209.5 km/h with a best lap times of 1:03.2 (Benson) 1:05.1(Me, PB!) for the day. This smashes Wakefield Parks street registered lap recored i belive and matches what the BYP Supercharged Civic's PB on semi slick tyres. With the car being alot heavier than the civic, with similar power, its an awesome acheivement and shows how well the BYP boys have set this car up, they sure as hell know what their doing!

Unfortunatly our day ended early, when an incodent with another car down the straight, caused us into the sand trap and with our glowing hot brakes (see pic below) caused the pads to melt onto the rotors and the rotors to crack. With the tyres already lost its grip, i dont belive the times would have been bettered though.

Special mentions to the BYP boys, na-118, Damienm, Willy Wonka and B16A2(winre) for helping prep the car, and my rivilary with damo made it all the more interesting and fun, and pushed both of us to get big PB's (1:05.7 N/A awesome achivement!)
Was also good meeting the Melb guys DYNALL, Vyets, G-Stick, ChargeR and Anzai.
