Flippit's DC5R !!

    so today went out to incar racing again to get another power run to see what the main differences were with the exhaust and intake. Although I could feel it mid range i wanted to see some numbers and graphs ahah!

    Green Line - Stock K20A2 with Injen SHORT RAM
    Red Line - Stock K20A2 with Toda headers, toda cat, powergetter catback & Injen CAI!

    Although the final figure of 122kw is barely different to the old run, the mid range power and torque is majorly different, more useable power! power mods it stops here, eventually KPRO & tune and maybe intake manifold with bigger TB.

    Pretty happy One thing i did notice though, and can see/hear in video, the limiter cut in earlier than normal which also viewable on graph. who knows

      Nice... But one thing the to runs arnt inline. Thats why vtec kicked in at differ revs and the limiter differ!!!!!
      The power at certain revs is off on one of them. Didn't calibrate the rotation to revs correctly

        mmm.... you may be correct, I must of printed it wrong/lined up the dyno runs wrong when I was printing and comparing the two runs.

              Did you dyno on different wheels Phil?

              Edit: Posting this for the haters who think I am worried about power difference with wheel diameter. Perhaps RPM is off because of different wheel diameter, hence offsetting the graph.

              Wheel/Rim size and effect on dyno reading = a different story

                  There 25.4mm wider.. 3.745% different...


                  But dont they hold the car at say 3000 rpm and tell the dyno to set that wheel rotation at 3000rpm. So tire size shouldnt affect that

                    Not much going on recently,

                    Still waiting for Brembos to come back from being professionally painted. Hopefully end of this week.

                    Painted my wheels with Plastidip blue, I originally wanted orange but in Australia they don't sell orange in a pressure can only in 4L tins.
                    I'm 50/50 with this color of choice, I've purchased some fluoro orange paint to put OVER the plastidip and i'll see if i like that. If not i'll peel it all off and leave it black.
