The quarter isn't that sticky though, yes stickier, but I was expecting more when I went on!

I'm pretty sure DC5's were recorded at 14.6 stock from wheels magazine or something like that and the dc2's at 14.8

haha im glad you wrote something Phil, this was starting to take over your BUILD thread! but now you have involvement its all good :P

      Stock dc5s run a bit quicker then a dc2,which is about a 14.6 ish

im hoping to hit a 13.9 on streets, might change brake setup for one night and chuck on a set of 15 inch drag wheels see if i can hit low 13's,which would be impressive

I think motor magazine should hire us as their drivers

OEM tail light gaskets. Mine are NOT leaking but I know its a common problem so I'm just going to change them before they do leak!

I thought the taillight water problem was only on facelift?

Out of curiousity Alex. On the face-lift taillights...where do they leak from eh?...I'm asking this considering i've just face-lifted my 02-04.

I reckon its just from washing the car? i mean im not holding the hose right in front of the taillight etc. before I had my gasket changed, I'd getmoisture in there, but my gf's taillights theres actauly water sitting in there and I'd love to get some goldfish in there - that'll giveu an indication of how much water is in her taillights. cos ur rebuilding ur car atm, it'll be safe to get some brand new gaskets put in to save time in the future.

                        Nice updates!!

Yeah, address your gaskets before it's too late... I regret not changing my gaskets when I first read about the problem...

The water sneaks behind the old gaskets (before they had adhesive backs) and into your tail lights.. When it comes through here, it also picks up dust, sand and bugs (I had bugs in my tail lights =[ )

If you look at this thread: http://www.diymyhonda.com/rsx/tailli...-in-trunk-fix/

Closer to the bottom, you'll see the old gaskets and how much water has sneaked through them.

I've seen it happen to a couple pre-facelifts also. Don't want to take the risk anyway wasn't expensive so thought why not, can make a DIY out of it also!

Ive had this problem. Doesn't go into the tail light as such but into the boot. The boot fills up with water and its a pain getting it all out after a couple of days of heavy showers.
