Updateeeee!

First off i got these cabin filters, the Aus Dc5's didnt come with any but there is a casing and slot for them above the glovebox as some of you may or may not know. Cleaner and fresher air oh yeah!


Yesterday was a big day for the car, Went down to Toda to swap exhaust with a friend of mine which consist of
Toda Headers
Toda Cat
Powergetter catback
I gave him my stock exhaust & swaybar with $$ on top.

I could be wrong and please someone correct me if im wrong BUT..

by not getting it tuned you run the risk of your car running to lean which will end up with your pistons starting to wear out which is bad.

right? wrong? im an idiot? i dunno lol

Not sure where you got that from?
I alot of people do basic bolt ons with out a 'tune' and never have issues.

mmmmm...that doesn't sound right to me dude. I'd say "millions" of people put full exhaust on their car, turbo or N/A and leave it like so for the rest of the car's life with no dramas at all.
Yeah for sure my car would potentially run better power wise if i got it tuned and i'd be getting the max gains out of my mods but highly highly doubt theres a risk of damaging a car.

no they'll generally run rich untunned with bolt-ons.

nothing to worry about.



Op did you notice much power difference after the swap being untunned and all?

Only reason I bought up was because when I went from mugen to the new exhaust, my car ran rich as fuck and needed a retune, also read running rich wears out pistons
