I was thinking of that while it was getting shipped. I wanted to paint them Brembo gold but few of my mates said to leave it. Plus I couldn't wait to fit them so didn't have time to paint them again. I will one day.

You are both right They are AMG C63 6 pot brembo (front)

Something i found out while doing research on what pads they take.

AMG C63
AMG CLK55
AMG SLK55
Ford Performance Vehicles
Lexus ISF
WRX STI Spec C

all use the same 6 pot brembo calipers so finding brake pads shouldn't be a problem

How many pistons it has doesn't necessarily indicate stopping power.

Didn't you know that they're made by Brembo?
HSV , AMG, Lamborghini etc
All are Brembo designed brakes, they pay Brembo so they can re-name them which is pretty sad
