Had a chance to install my spoon rigid collar kit . Installation would of been much more easier if it was in english and of the correct vehicle.
They used an FD2R instead of the FN2R so when they asked to undo the steering column joint, i had no idea! Finally figured it all out and wasnt too bad to install.
Just needed the front of the car to be on stands and a hydraulic jack to hold and lower the sub chassis.
Removed all the bolts and lowered the chassis down far enough to slip the collars in.
Raised the chassis back up and tightened to specifications. Now my steering is out and needs an alignment again.

Review: Besides noticing that my steering wheel is out of whack, i do notice the car handling different.
There's more steering feedback and better response when cornering. I took it to the track last week and it seems to have more oversteer than last time. Not too sure if it was the collar or different tyres lol. will write more about it when i get more time to drive the car and properly test it.

Evident here that the sub chassis is not properly aligned

    This is where they go

If youre interested in purchasing this kit, please let me know.

After posting that I took the car for a long drive. Definately an improvement, sharper steering and much faster response. I feel there is more control of the car and driving it is much more fun.

Its been awhile since my last mod and im itching for another but just dont know what to decide.
I've been tossing up between a big brake kit or some new wheels. Any recommendations?

Sinh why do you want a BBK when u already have a spoon 1? LOL
Get new shoes for the car will give it a new look if you want that! Or can go a get Toda Cams like me which I'm planning.

Lightweight 18’s would be very beneficial. As the standard 18’s they come with are heavy.
Any bigger than that, the on-going costs are just not worth it?

                  Thanks szymonsta!

I was thinking of Advan RG-D or Work Emotion XT7. Bit bored of the current wheels. With the big brake kit, I just want something to fill up the big empty space that the 18" rim leaves and extra braking power never hurts anyone

                    Hey Dude,

I remember at the BBQ last weekend, when I parked, we were (well I was) mirin' your car big time! Love that front bumper mate. Is that stock? Mugen maybe?

Either way, I love the car, a couple of my friends were looking at a white FN2R parked today and saying this is the best colour for the Fn2. I totally disagreed adn isntantly thought of your car.

                    Love the front end!

Hey thanks mate, front bar is optional from honda. I used to own all black cars but when it came to the FN2 for some reason i chose red and couldn't be happier. It was a shame i had to leave early that day, had some stuff to do. Was a big turn out and all the cars there looked awesome, some of the DC5 looks so mean!!
