Parking Fine, damn

Guys, I just got a fine for parking in the no stoping area, but it was like 2:30 am and there were other cars parked around (that's why i didn't look at the sign), I actually parked in the slot between other cars.

The fine was given out by the Victorian Police, $107. Do you think I can write a letter asking them to lower the fine or forgive me? \

Damn, I hate paying fine, I'm gonna cry all night...

VIC is still here bcoz they are doing a good job of giving out fines to everyone....they rely on this to keep the place running anyway.....just pay it and forgot about it.....its an expensive lesson tho.....feel for you bro...

I got one of those^^ But for a good reason. People come up to me in the car park an have a go at me cos it looks like a this young bloke in a flash sports car is parking where ever he wants.

Bad news about your fine send a letter any way. I shoulda done this with my first P plate fine cos the next time i got a fine they wouldnt even hear about letting me off. Just because i had a history of getting a P plate fine

They had a crack down in North Sydney cos there were too many handicapped passes...LOL I walked past a 911, S15 and R33 and they all had handicap passes LOL

You have to get a doctor to verify that you need one but i would ask at the RTA first. Someone did mine for me when i was still in hospital so i dont know how exactly you do get it.

Parking infringement costs are subjective and determined by the council. Signage erected are also meant to serve generally as a safety concern vs. revenue generation. Of course, we all know how true that statement is. Here is a reference of parking infringement issued in NSW metro, not specific to particular councils which charge more.
