Just read that petrol subsidy thing from the government, looks like most if not all of us won't benefit from it
Hopefully less demands on petrol will reduce the price at the bowzer for us, but I think I am dreaming.

how about they stop the petrol companies from artificially increasing the price of petrol at the bowser during crisis times like wars and hurricanes.. the advertiser had a nice graph on sunday showing the relationship between world oil price and bowser price over the last few years and shows that the gap gets really big sometimes...

shell and BP etc etc are the real crooks..

no.. not really... its the shareholders of those companies who are the crooks. they are the ones who expect greater returns from the companies. this in turn filters down through the managers and ultimately to the end users...

i did a nice essay on this exact topic last semester @ Uni. was an interesting essay topic nonetheless
