how to make each step of the rebuild appear for 1-2 seconds, then switch to the next picture so it looks like it is building it self?

adobe imageready is the software there are many other programes out there, run a search on google with parameters such as "gif file maker" as thats the format of the animated files.

i made the gif file but they are pretty big at full quality *over 2mb*, but this gives you an idea.

Ok no worries ....

i checked ur original images. Each of them are 300kb if you can say get htem down to 100kb each image then that 800kb gif file will only be around 300kb total.
