+1 to this. On the topic of avatars, it won't let me upload one from photobucket at their smallest size (100x75)! Says the remote file is too large. I assume that's referring to the original file on my computer but i don't see how that would affect it.

i am back on my work PC using Firefox and all avatars are back.

firefox doesnt show a "x" rather just a link under the username
