Crashed EVO in West Syd

did anyone catch the news on tv?
i saw footage of a smashed up White EVO5 (could have been an EVO6 actually from looking at the wheels)

the reporters say it happened in west sydney suburbs...hope it's no one we know...

the car hit a telegraph pole i think and split into two pieces.

Passenger killed when car hits pole

A 19-YEAR-OLD Sydney man has died in a high-speed car-crash in the city's inner-west, police said.
The accident happened after a 21-year-old Glebe man lost control of his Mitsubishi sedan travelling south on Princes Highway at Tempe about 10pm (AEDT) last night.
The car crashed into a power pole and split in two on impact, killing the 19-year-old front seat passenger.
The driver is in serious but stable condition at St George Hospital.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to contact police.
