Pretty sure this topic has been covered. But haven't heard of united 100. Where do you get it?

Caltex Vortex - Don't rate it.
7-11 - Forget about it.
Shell Optimax - Ok, burnt too fast and didn't feel as clean. Didn't feel right.
BP Ultimate - Very good, Use it regularly.
Mobil 98 - Very good also but rather use BP ultimate feels the same. Mobil, just not as many around.
I use to use Shell 100 octane but that got discontinued here and that was pretty good. Just a little better than Optimax, but no biggie i felt. Have used the United 100 and that was pretty good but that was straight after i got my fuel pumped changed so thought it was good because of the new fuel pump. But will give it another crack soon.
I tried 100 octane and felt a decrease in performance. There really is barely any difference in most stock cars when you use a fuel with a higher than required octane rating. It can increase economy (does this outweigh the extra cost of it?), it has also been reported in the past that the higher octane rating can assist in the engines responsiveness under heavy load eg: going up hills.
This being said i use BP Ultimate most of the time as i have noticed better economy from it. I believe Shell V Power most of the time gives me better performance but not as good economy.
I also highly rate the Caltex Vortex 98 which isnt available everywhere as most Caltex stations only supply Vortex 95.
Also i have noticed that if i switch to BP Ultimate i get noticeably worse performance and fuel economy and this continues until about the 4th tank of BP when it returned to normal and yields better economy and nominal performance.
I use bp ultimate from day 1. Cant really say on how much perofmrance it has, as its all i have ever used. Use that and the fact i also get 5% off - Citibank BP Masteracrd
Shell 98 decent power, lousy economy.
BP 98 Avg Power Avg economy
Caltex 98 Not used enough to give opinion
Mobil 98 - This is my regular fuel, great power and excellent economy for me.

^ agree. although do watch out for using higher octanes like 100 fuel or octane boosters. its harming your o2 sensor and since dc5's has pretty weak o2 sensors its pretty gay.
