    DODGY dc2r for sale in NSW BEWARE

    Just a head up for anyone friends or family member is looking to purchase a dc2r. My little cousin has been looking around for a yellow dc2r recently and came across this one:

    Did Rev's check indicates its a repairable write off seller says its due to the recaros being stolen, he said he has own the car for 2 years.
    Close inspection of the car front and rear bar its not put on probably (signs of being in a accident). Pop the bonnet you will notice the driver guard chasis has been pushed in and has been repaired, now to the boot take the false floor off the paints is cracked unusual . He also got a professional inspector to inspect the car and it shows the front and rear has been repaired from a cut and shut job. We have all the papers for the inspection its such a dodgy repair.

    Good job looking out for your fellow enthusiasts Perry. It seems like finding a good condition Type R is getting harder and harder .

        Also guys, as a heads up to anyone, that does a state roads, i do know of a few dodgey inspectors that will take bribes for them to exclude certain areas to inspect. a friend of mine, as an inspection done, and when i looked at the report, i noticed, some pages were missing detailing body panel analysis. SO make sure all pages are inclusive when you receive the report!

          Always good to check through the RTA website with their vehicle check its only $18. It show will you the KM's that has been recorded throughout its history during registration and also whether its a repairable write-off interstate.

          If a car was bought smashed in QLD/MEL/SA and sold in NSW it won't be displayed on REVS.

          REVs will only show NSW write-offs.
