    In car camcorder

    Hello

Looking into a bang for your buck camcorder purely to just use on the track.

I'm currently interested in this one but I'm not sure if it will be sufficient (zoom wise, white balance and etc adjustments) as I am not really into camcorders.

What I liked about this camera is the price, size, HD recording and remote.

I don't have a camcorder myself to use for other things so I don't mind paying a bit more for a more decent camcorder.

    Opinions? Suggestions?

GoPro. You can now get the HD for $300.

    Check it out HERE.

I've ordered one for my car.

No idea as I didn't end up getting it.

Got sucked into the GoPro HD Hero instead.

Please do elaborate on the bugs as I just paid for mine.

it always shut down itself when you run over a bump or ripple strips

I reckon it was the metal plate that connects to the battery always fail to engage the battery properly during vibration (i.e no battery)

I went and looked up a couple of reviews from both professionals and amateurs and none spoke of that bug.

Could you have received a defective unit?

Did you inquire with GoPro about this issue?
