I've spent the past 2 days in bed. I'm climbing the walls. I went to the doctor and he told me I have a strong influenza virus. I normally just get a head cold this time of year but this has hit me for six.

Anyone else been struck down this winter?

i was struck with a mild flu last weekend, got it from work most likely and it spread like wild fire cos i didnt wear a jumper while working outside.

half my team at work got sick as well, wtf is going on ay?

You guys get "tamiflu" from your doctors?
The doctor scared the crap out of me when he gave it to me, cause i knew that is what they used to treat swine flu.

My mum was worried that I had swine flu. It's just another flu strain. People die of influenza every year. It just makes the news this year because the GFC is running out of puff in the media.

just got over mine..
wasnt so much the flu.. more of a cold.
lasted roughly 3.5 days with the help of vast amounts of H20 and codral cold & flu capsules

i blame the awesome sydney trains for having locked windows, re-circulating heaters and being at breaking point. GG city rail...

no one i know has had a flu...

only colds...

i reckon half to 75% of peeps who say "i have the flu" actually just have a cold...

i had influenza virus around end of June (a test was done by Pathology to confirm it) and a cold about a week ago.....
