I've been to Le mans, and the port melb place and acekarts in sunshine.
I honestly wouldn't bother with the first 2 places (le mans & port melb).
THe quality of the track is crap... (specifically le mans).
the port melb track is really narrow, its almost impossible to pass anyone.
Anyway i think they're bankrupt (closed) now... coz someone died there last year.
Acekarts in sunshine is heaps better... alot more professional.
You get a full print out of your laptimes etc. and the track is tidy n good.
Although after saying that, i'd much prefer leisurely cruise down GOR if the weather is good.
But it depends on the majority vote, dont mind karting too.
Yeah i wasnt impressed with Port Melbourne either.. Track was tight, a few corners were good, but the surface condition was sh!t.. the Karts sucked @rse too.
Ace Karts in Sunshine is by far the best i have been to also... lots of space... lots of run off space.. Karts are well kept and the surface is pretty damn good.. they dont really mind when you scando flick into corners in the wet either =)
Im up for anything.. i put karting as a suggestion... can run a bbq on the day also at most places

yeah! theres absolutely no run off on the le mans tracks...all tyres!
If someone spins in front of u, and u swerve to avoid... hello tyre wall!! and saying hello to the tyre wall at 30-40km/h is not fun at all... i know, it happened to me.

Same at Port Melb indoor... Took the inside on the hairpin because the dude infront of me went wide... and went too wide... hit the wall bounced off the wall and into me ... i hit him at about 30kmh and then i was hit from behind by another 2 mates, both doing about 30kmh... it hurt to say the least. The dude that ran too wide had to leave the track with backpain.
