I want to know who's going to be the new teams and new drivers, then maybe they can have a "World Formula 1 Championships" where the best of the two championships race each other.

wouldn't it have been nice if 'honda' were the last championship winners of F1 as we know it. Shame it'll more than likely be a brawn gp car bet there is someone working at honda (or maybe not) that gets a sick feeling in his tummy everytime he hears "button on pole"

But serious what were the hanky spanky man and the little man thinking! They caused this, and now their going down the drain.

                http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headline...19220453.shtml

Bernie sold the commercial rights to the F1 a few years back for $2Bn and is the CEO of the private equity company that now holds the rights and its his job to make sure they make a return on their money (which was borrowed) so they can pay their debt..

that's why they push so hard for each venue to pay such huge fees to host a race...

and these "commercial right" mean they get half the revenue generated by the sport..

what a crock of sh!t. I am all for the new series!

Hopefully the new series will be better than F1, which has in my opinion been going down the drain with all the regulations and restrictions on teams. The best are the best because they put the most in, if one team can put in 40m and one can put in 300m why shouldnt they?

It's not over till the new FOTA series is on track. This is all part of legal mind games and strategy.

Anyone else going to be watching the F1 pre-race show on ONE HD?

Should be interesting to get a bit more info on the situation, as all the web sites I have read have basically just talked about the letter that FOTA released... and the one FIA/F1 released.

Apparently a big legal battle is going to happen shortly :s
