Coming to Sydney

Hey all

In early July my girlfriend and I will be driving down to Sydney in the Integra

So far the plan is

Day 1: Leave Brisbane, stay a night in Coffs Harbour
Day 2: Leave Coffs, stay two nights in the Hunter Valley
Day 4: Leave Hunter Valley, continue onto Sydney.

We are looking to stay in Sydney for about 5 nights, then either drive down to Canberra, or just go back to Brisbane… still to decide

We have a few plans for Sydney, Shopping, Bondi, Zoo... and some other touristy things, but was wondering if there are some other things you guys recommend (Restaurants, sights, places not to go etc). I don’t really intend on driving much while we are in Sydney (Except if there is a meet somewhere ), so it’ll mostly be walking or public transport whilst in Sydney CBD

Also, if anyone else has done the drive before (Or part of it) are there any particular ways you would recommend.

I don't have any family in Sydney, but my girlfriend does... but I think they live in Blacktown... so i'm not leaving the teg there

We'll be staying in the CBD somewhere.. haven't decided yet.

lool, so? my cousine lives near mt druitt and i always leave my teg there when i go syd...but then again he knows everyone and no one f*&cks with him lol. WESTIES FTW!

if your going all the way to canberra, it might be a good idea to drive another 2 hrs and go to the snow if you have never been before.

I have done the syd to GC/Briz a few times. The highway is boring as batshit, if you can, take go inland for part of your trip, the roads are fun/ unsealed with no speed limit (this was a few years ago so not too sure about them now) and you will pass by some really small interesting towns and old school pubs.

When you're in Sydney, try and/or go to the following if you haven't been:

Bondi Beach (get filmed on Bondi Rescue and that'll make your trip worthwhile, just be sure you're filmed in the DC5R)
Taronga Zoo
Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House
Have Dinner at Cockle Bay or Darling Harbour (any restuarant will do, just so long you get the views which you will - just to make the trip more happy snap, for the views!)
StarCity Casino (who knows, you might win and drive up in a Ferrari, be sure to leave the keys for the DC5R with me)
Head into the City, go shopping. Whether it be in QVB, Townhall, George St, Pitt St, Market City, and you can visit Chinatown if you haven't been lol etc.

If you head to Blacktown, surely the family can tell you whats around.

Sounds like good time coming! Last year did the week trip from goldy down to Port Macquarie and toured around. The car (dc5r) loved it. Great fuel economy also 594km to fuel light on! One tip WATCH THE SPEED CAMERAS!!

So its all finalised.

I'll be in Sydney from Wednesday 15th July, till either Monday 20th or Tuesday 21st (can't remember exactly). At this stage I'll be meeting up with Burak (TypeSexy) to give him some stuff, but otherwise i'm sure my GF will organise some things for us to do
