    Bike vs Car

    Hello!

Just thought i'd introduce myself to the forum with a little icebreaker!!

Anyone here own both a bike and a car???

Was just wondering how would you guys go about allocating $$$ and time??

In other words, would you spend more on your bike or car and why???

I have a bike but it is in a shed in another state so it doesn't really take up a lot of my time or money . I do have more than one car though and it is a constant battle to decide which one to give more attention.

I wants one of these though:

Yeah I have always ridden dirt bikes and found them quite enjoyable on the road and I would love to get a 450 motard for my next bike. Big heavy sports bikes do not appeal to me .

Your mate on the GSXR must be a dud rider...
But yes, Aprilia's are nice, not never as nice at a Ducati...

I spend my money on the car only. As much as I love riding, I like my ITR and cars more. The bike is stock as. 06 Honda VFR800, its a great bike as it is and its my daily.

                            i've riden a rs125 and it's definately not faster than a gsxr 600 LOL

                            it barely beats a cbr250..

i own an aprilia rs125 and a dc5r, love both, i must say i enjoy riding more than driving, but you cant really compare the two.

an rs125 is definitely not faster than a gixxer600, maybe for the first 20-30 metres off the line, or even on the track while taking a bend, but straightline, theres no way. Ive been to the track with my bike twice, and one time was with 600s and 1000cc bikes, i could gain on them ever so slightly on the bends as my bike was lighter and handled easier, but soon as the bend straightened out they were way gone.

next bike is gonna be a cbr600rr or an r6.
