    Shipping From US to AU

    HI all,

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with shipping from US To AUS? I've got a set of wheels over at my auntie places, they weigh around 32kg or 80lbs, and she was quoted for $1700US by air , which is completely not what i want to pay...

has anyone got any recommedation to get stuff shipped overseas internationally? I Guess i won't mind the duration, but the cost is the main factor.

    Thanks in advance!!

Sea freight. Never ever ship via air for something that heavy. Sea freight would cost around $400-500.

I bought a set of wheels from the US. They shipped it via USPS by sea. Cost $270 all up with tracking.

Mind you it was 15inch wheels that weighed 4kgs each, shipped in two seperate packages. Took about 5 working days to arrive!

Maybe it was air then? Seemed abit cheap for air!

It definitely didn't take 20 days.

USPS seems cheap after i did a bit of research on it, but for 17's, and weight around 8kg each, i think it against there standards for large packages...
