    Help Needed for Nissan 200SX

    Hey guys,

A friend is flying to Melbourne to buy an S15. 2001 Model, with about 22,000kms on the clock. Wondering if anyone knows the person or know of the car at all. She cant get the RACV check done in time. She's done a REVS check and VicRoads? check so far. Is there anything else she can do? Also, there is a dyno for the car. Is it common for the dip?

    This is the car http://carsales.com.au/used-cars/pri...9045&trecs=401

Any help would be appreciated Or if anyone has free time, would they mind checking out the car with her? She will be there on Friday and Saturday.

That dip in the dyno looks weird. Otherwise, the power somehow matches up to the psi its boosting.

Can she call her Chaser to find out more info since its dynoed there??

                            Found this on the web,

                            "Private Sellers
Buying from a private seller is a bit riskier. You still get a Roadworthy Certificate, but you don't get a cooling-off period or a Statutory Warranty and it's your responsibility to check that it's not stolen and there's no money owing on it. Contact the Vehicles Securities Register (VSR) on 131171. They'll be able to advise you over the phone for free, or issue a Certificate of Registered Interest (which currently costs around eight dollars). You should also check its written-off status by phoning VicRoads on 131171 with the registration number and vehicle identification number. This way you'll know if the car has suffered any major damage that might affect its future performance.

Given the extra risks and hassles involved when you buy privately, you should expect a much lower price. If the seller is charging the same as a licensed motor car trader, buy from the trader instead"

So VicRoads is best to check with?

its obviously modded to run that power/boost, is the car audm or jdm ?

and no that dip is not normal for a s15
