I would not worry too much about ones that have been intermittently tracked. My car has been tracked every month or two for the last 18 months and it is still awesome .
There is a nice looking one owned by Vincikwan in the FS section here. Perhaps send him a PM asking for some details since you can't view the FS section yet.

i doubt there is a car in australia that meets those criteria!
1 owner since brand new, CW, around 60,000km, absolutely stock (except CD player), never tracked/crashed, mint condition, full Honda service. the only problem is it's not for sale.
i've been asking him to sell it to me for years but no luck. so i got a EP3 instead.

I don't see anything wrong with buying a car that has seen the track once or twice.
I took mine to the track for the first time a few months ago, put 30 track km's on it. Don't notice any difference with it as all.
I think as long as you get it compression and leak down tested and the motor's healthy then go for ir.
As for mods, as long as it's done tastefully then why not ? Obviously most guys that own DC2R's are fanatical people. All the guys I know that own Type R's are freaking the most Anal people I have met./Oo ___H___ oO\
