    > install bluetooth software
    > install BluePRO headset software (if provided)
    > couple devices
    > use software provided to play music through BT.

I've never used the Blue PRO but thats the standard way to use BT products.

Just had a quick look at the user manual, doesnt say anything about connecting to a computer. Everything seems to be focused on Mobile use.

oh, can you email me the manual?

each time i downloaded it, Adobe said: "the file is damaged and could nto be repaired"

You need to make sure that your bluetooh dongle & headset both support A2DP profile.

doesn't windows install bluetooth dongle itself and have its own "windows" wizard to pair up bt devices?

when u insert bt dongle, does windows show an icon in the taskbar, bottom right hand corner next to the clock? if so, right-click that bt icon and follow prompts to add a device and look for bt headset....

dave, your generic bluetooth dongle probably runs software called ivt bluesoleil (as most do)

so perhaps that is a starting point. once you pair the devices through the software, you can see what services are supported by the device (headset), and then double click on an icon to start the corresponding service. you're probably thinking WTF now... but once you launch the app and set the headset in discovery mode and get them to pair, the rest shouldnt be much of a problem.

The windows wizard is shit and it's only good for transferring files to and from devices.
