Yes. Now with the rumours about the FN hatch being sold here the chances of the FD2 going on sale are becoming slimmer every day. They're already going to make a mess of their porduct line up as it is. Having 2 Civic Type Rs would just make things worse.

                FN2?

I like it, same story with DC5R when it first came out, ppl are so quick to dismiss it as being a fake R. Now look around...How many DC5's owners out there?

Would it be right to say those who can't afford one (YET) are the same ones crapping it?

Nope. I would drop $50k on an FD2 if it were announced tomorrow. The FN2 just does nothing for me aesthetically. I don't need to drive it to make my mind up. To each their own though.

i disagree. The AU type R was branded fake only because it was detuned with brakes and power. I would be very surprised if an FN2 could beat an AUDM DC5R on a track with equally skilled drivers. People branded the dc5R fake mainly because the sussy was changed to doublewishbones on rear only and a little bit softer to drive.
People think its a nugget and not a type R because the type R theme is chuck out all luxuries! (Aircon, sound deadening etc) This is all standard on this type R and is why the Type S was not sold as an R.
                    Also NO LSD??

This all being said, i have driven one and it was good to drive and felt nice although couldnt really feel vtec in it (due to even powercurve maybe?) and i would choose my 02 dc5r > it any day.

DC5R wasnt as crap as the FN2.

I could afford several FN2R's right now if i wanted but I still think FN2 is a POS

You need a VTEC light to tell you are in VTEC?

On an FN2 I see why they did it. The lack of punch would certainly lead to people thinking it fell off.
