I sold my S15 and changed to a DC2R because i wanted to try different types of cars. So i tracked the S15(FR) and now learning to drive a DC2R(FF). Its so different in feeling and the lines that you would take on a track is totally different too. After the DC2R will be a 4WD which will most likely be an evo. I think the last car would be an RR....too expensive the damn porsches. LOL
O yeah, my S15 was putting out 210kw on the dyno. Thats why i missed its power. My current DC2R is more or less stock so i am only putting out 110kw on the dyno.

I went from a 250RWKW R33 Skyline into a DC2R. Main reasons I wanted a car that I didn't have to spend money on. The skyline was a great car with alot of power, but the honda is so much more refined in everyway, I know theyre 2 totally different cars, but Id never give up my DC2R now.. But in saying that, that skyline taught me alot about cars and driving, I modded it over about 3 years, learning each new bit as it went on.
I too have thought about going down the path of an S15 or an EVO but if I did that then I would pump 20-30k of mods into in no time, trouble with those turbo cars is that you always want to unleash alot of power..
Stock S15 no way. Stock DC2R anyday..

damn guys, i was hopeing you would talk me out of my dc2r!
im after new things and experiences. i would love to improve on my driving skills (altho i have no where near mastered the fwd platform) and i think RWD would definatly do that.Originally posted by tinkerbellif anyone is under the impression VTEC is in any way bad for your engine - please understand that it is NOT bad for your engine,
maybe your drivers licence, but not your engine...

Man think before you make your move, also test drive of your next car is a must (if possible try to drive stock and modded S15 so you can see difference there as well), keep in mind that S15 will use more fuel (if modded a lot more hehe), so you may get more stright line speed but what's the point if you think about fuel every time you want to fang it a bit. Also very important thing is what you prefer in your car, taking corners hard, drag/stright line speed ect.
I use to have DC2R lightly modded (I/H/E and coilovers), was pretty quick (14.3 1/4mile), but going up and down the hills was just best feeling ever, no S15 could ever keep up on those drives. From DC2R I moved to S2000, it was my dream car and I love it, but after 1 year of ownership I'm selling it, S2K is just lovely car but I miss that race feeling DC2R use to give me, plus after driving the best sports FWD car ever made it's pretty hard to get used to RWD, it's fun but DC2R was more fun in performance way.
My next car was gonna be evo but after doing a bit of research I think it's to expensive to keep running if you drive it the way EVO shoud be driven, so my next car is gonig to be honda again, this time EP3, bit more power from K20 and FWD, plus it's pretty chep to maintain and I can drive it hard every day with out thinking what's gonna fuck up
