Focal 165KF - HELP

Ok 1 thing I have no damn idea about is car stereo..

I want a clear system..

I am thinking of purchasing Focal 165KF - $400-$500 Range

Around that price range.. anyone have any advise or another brand?? at that price bracket...

for that price range focal's probably the best....but you might find it hard to fit the focal's...spacer is a must and most likly need to trim the door.

if you can pay more...like double that....you can get stuff like boston, eton or morel....mmmm morel

Make fantastic sounding/quality splits.
Cant go wrong. And anybody with car audio exp will tell you this.

Eclipse or Alpine may be another choice...
But in that price range, i'd go for Focal's

Depth not a problem already sorted that out with spacers 12mm mdf.. hehe

Focals are alright not bad, but i suggest you go audition it, and audition some other pairs of speakers.

Cause to some people think Focal's sound really harsh- due to its tweeter.
IMO they are as well, but if u like harsh speakers then all the power to u.

But they are pretty good , but some other suggestions

Just make sure you have suitable power to drive the system you plan on running.

Focal, Bostons you really cant go wrong, it will come down to your preference of music as to which system suits you best.

I guess it also depends how good your ears are and how quiet your car interior is.
