it's freaking entrapment... i bet at the lights they egg people on.

if you were to race one off the lights, when would you get pulled over? the moment you exceed the speed limit? or would they just keep going until they've had their fun and you're both doing 45km+ over the speed limit?

is entrapment against the law here or just one of those us legal loopholes that we all pick up cause we saw a movie/show about it?

nsw government has lost the plot. wasting so much money on hoons rather than other crimes. impoundment, car crushing and this as well?? it's a bit too far.

Guys its simple, don't speed too much and you should be okay.

Also, I believe this move by the police is entrapment and desperate.

REAL CRIME is not being addressed, for example yesterday's article titled "Ram-raiders' daytime city heist" http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599...13-421,00.html. This Ram Raid was done only a few blocks from the city police. So where were they? I bet at Krispy Kreme Wynyard...

Another issue is the possibility of criminals impersonating undercover police.

Very True! If i had a Rex with P plates chasing me with a few flashing lights, which i know the public can get their hands on, i definately would NOT pull over... how do i know its not someone thats wants to car jack!!!
