never had a problem with my Canon so never had to worry about warranty

like 1 month after i sold my 400d the new owner had to get me to transfer the warranty... but i think that was because of a user issue not it breaking down. like everything tho you could get a lemon... i just dont think its very common

think ill risk it and buy it from a grey importer. i cant justify the $500 odd price difference for something which i may not need.
they offer their own warranty anywy jus bit more of a hassle
