Please try to punctuate your posts or at least be more clear in the questions you're asking.

I will try to answer what I perceive to be your question.

Your premium would be cheaper if you try to insure your first car at 25 and are not on your Ps, but had been driving your parent's car.

Premiums are based on many things. These include accident history, class of car, modifications, security (garaged, alarm, etc.) and the value of car. The significance of these factors are in turn moderated by your age (under 25), license (Ps vs full) and driving experience (number of years).

Excess = the money you have to pay when you make a claim ie. you have a car stolen you have to pay ( usally $500 - 1500+) before the insurace company will pay for your car.

Only a year ago i was paying $1500 with NRMA for a base model 97 auto civic i was 20yro an off my p plates and i live in a town with the population of 2000 (not many stolen cars here ) . When you put that next to an integra its not much more expensive

You only pay the excess if its YOUR fault........
Shitty thing about just cars is that you still have to fork out the excess even if its ur fault. But they will give the money back to ou after everything is sorted out.

NRMA was good......once i gave the details of the other fucker all i had to do was take it to a repair dealer and give the claim number that nrma gave to me
