Some of his points about the FN2R were bit picky:
*Ignition waring....All my honda's have had this bar 2??
*Seat ajustment being lever operated....Most of the cars i have been in have this??

That's just Clarkson nitpicking to be funny...

However, the one MAJOR point he brought up was with regard to the torsion beam rear suspension, and he's right... it would have to be the number 1 reason why I wouldn't buy an FN2 personally.

Being a FN2 owner, it pains me to agree with most of his negative points.

I wouldn't go as far as saying its 'hopeless' though
EP3 always had a reputation of a tailhappy car (for a FWD anyway)
seems the FN2 stock setup is milder, push understeer is noticable.
But these issues can be solved with LSD and good set of coilovers
Im getting my inside rear to lift up now heheh, spun out a few times on track because of it too.

The difference in weight is still there though, I jumped in my mates DC5R and the eagerness of the car to change direction is definitely noticable.

i wonder if my excel could do half of what that ep3 did on TG
              far out!

you got a quaife lsd for DC5 right? i'm assuming stock dc5r lsd would fit without any problems?

Yea, I got a quaife, I read somewhere that the Automatic TORSEN gear arrangement of Quaife diff is unique. Quite different to OEM Helical Honda LSD. Comparing it to how DC5R feels, the Quaife gives that 'grip better with more throttle' feel.
I would assume that DC5R LSD would fit, considering my quaife was made for RSX-S
