Just a few things I think you might want to look into:

For the home page, you should change the image background colour to white as the grey just does have flow with the page that you currently have (stellamotto.jpg) Maybe have something else there instead as you already have the logo in at the top.

Same with the contact page, remove the black background and make it white (stellacontact.jpg)

Make your thumbnails for your portfolio one consistant size to keep with the flow

Maybe give 2007© under the flash a lighter colour as its a bit too bold looking with the black.

Make the Enter a Pink colour instead to flow with the rest and give it some DIV padding right to push it back in a little for better alignment away from the drop shadow.

Yes, your URL locations are not very consistent "/home.html", "/contact/". Put a main frame inside the page and that way the user just see's the same/main URL all the time.

How would i go about doing that?

The homepage/splash page is under a slight modification process atm, taking on board some of the comment swooc made.

The reason the thumbs are those sizes, is because I'm intending on implementing a one row horizontal scroll; so the height of all thumbs will be the same.

You might want to research a bit of website optimisation for search engines. It involves putting relevant and stand out names for all your header names/div tag's etc. That way search engines pick up your site easier and gets put at the topper range of results in search engines.

I really want to look into this, can you point me in the right direction to start looking into the type of optimisation I would need to make in the meta tags etc, keywords, descriptions etc etc.

Requires a little JavaScript knowledge. Each click to a new page calls up a JS function that will direct the frame to a new URL. Hence, the URL in your browser doesn't change.

As for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Just google it up. I don't particularly worry about it when coding pages at work. A friend is into this as he does alot of personal web pages and he is currently trying to measure the increased hits to his page from doing such optimistations.

All he has done is just give all his meta tags meaningful names and also the same thing with each page url. This is just something simple in regards to this topic that you can do. There are companies that are dedicated to this service.

Oh - nice, I will check this out tonight. I am utterly CRAP with JS, so i'll see if I cant get my head around it, and implement some changes.

With regards to SEO, interestingly enough, I work in Online Advertising, and am invovled in SEO on the search side; optimising keywords for the product, so when those words are searched, our products come up under paid/sponsored search. I'm not however knowledged / learn-ed (:P) on the site-side coding used to bring up results on a search page.
