I got a GPS PDA phone (not the Nokia 95 - the GPS doesnt give you directions). Got an O2 orbit PDA.

It's great - the screen isnt as big as a dedicated in car GPS but when you combine the fact you can salary sacrifice it as a PDA (depending on your employer) and then depreciate it against tax it's becomes quite cheap. Even better if you've recontracted with a new plan and get a brand new phone you can ebay off.

ive tried tomtom 5 + 6, destinator 3 + 6 and whatever navman runs (about a year ago) and destinator was by far the best, although I had very little use of the navman so I can't realy comment there. tomtom probably had the best interface too and was a lot quicker than destinator 6 and did not have the same problems as destinator, such as telling me to turn into pedestrian alleyways etc.. if you've already got a PDA with PPC2003+, shoot me a PM and i'll hook you up.

Don't get a navman, user interface is by far the worst. Tomtom has the best UI.

                  Destinator, you mean Road Angel?
I would say Tom Tom because they can do everything the Road Angel can, i.e. red light cameras, speed cameras, school zones, etc. Just have to know where to get the POI and upgrades (not map upgrades) to them. (Usually you can get them through eBay).

if you have a pda phone like o2 atom you can buy those GPS receiver and just download the program (e.g. tom tom) into your phone

You could also consider the Nokia 6110 Navigator. Phone, GPS and lots more in one.

which will be similar to the n95, also the maps you download from nokia is not that detailed, alot of small roads will not be on the maps
