sorry to bring this back to life,

but i want to know when a feature says "Receive warnings when approaching fixed speed and red light camera locations." does this mean school zones as well?

do all of the TomToms and Navmans have the above function?

        TOMTOM ONE XL GPS,NAVIGATION SYSTEM
        http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA:IT&ih=012

Friend just picked one up at JB HiFi for $330, talked down from $390
I bought one of these as a gift for someone for 180 bucks in the US, we get rorted.

I have used the one xl and the nav man, both seemed the same to me. We own the Nav Man, overall i preferred the voice on the one XL, she sounded hot.

you will have to find a recent POI file with all the speed cameras/red light cameras etc. Tomtom will give a warning as it reaches a predetermined distance from the POI (camera etc).

                    I've got a Dell Axim x51v PDA with WM5.

I'm deciding between getting an in-car GPS or just use my PDA.

What are the pros and cons for each?

Can anyone suggest a good bluetooth receiver?

And can anyone also please hook me up with Tom Tom software?

                    Cheers.

                      torrents are your friend.

i rekon just use your PDA. it's a bit of a waste of money getting a dedicated system, unless for some reason you need to use your PDA for other functionality whilst driving...

re gps receivers.. i've got one of these and it locks on fairly quickly
