your best bet is to compare the S and R

1) stock for stock
2) with identical mods

If not, there are to many variables to play with that will give u an inaccurate outcome..

as basically everyone has already stated: hard to believe - but they are 2 different cars

R = race ... lsd, buckets, no sunroof, noisier
S = sport?.. luxury with the grunt to go

and IMO, owning both leather and cloth seated sport cars :: cloth > leather.. for BOTH comfortability and driveability

I dyno'd my car yesterday with just intake 124kw a R dynoed with intake it got 111kw, both otherwise stock

did you take it to a weigh bridge afterwards? the S is still a great car, you dont need to create a thread to justify buying it.

even then its hard to compare.. all you got to go by is mod for mod..

its like comparing same car with Xforce extractors and the car next to it with Toda =P..

neway that day those 3 cars ran almost at the same time and almost similar mods..

Although Im not going to get into an argument over TYpe R better than Type S..

theres alot of things i prefer in the TYpe R over the S, iMo not a fan of the leather and i cant be called Bias because i dont even own a R =p

Yes the S makes more power.
Yes the S lugs more weight around.

So how much more power and weight does the S have?

I'm not a S hater.
I don't even own a Type-R nor have I previously.
