    p plates

okay so i read around that theres a new p plate rule, to have the p plate fully exposed on the exterior of the car. well... being a dc2r owner... where the hell can i mount those p plates on the rear to have the p fully exposed without using magnetic plates? we all know theres not much room on the rear where the plates are... and for the front the only place is on the plates as well.

any other dc2r p platers out there ? any advice ?

i read somewhere that the p plates outside have to be either on the left or right side of your number plates :/

i cant find a list of anything on the rta website in-regards to this new law.

I zip tied mine to the number plates, the holes on the right of the plate.

1 out of 10 P-Plate drivers I've seen today have their plates outside.
Good way for the government to make money.

okay... i've been pulled over already for a so called "rbt" by an officer on the way home from a mates place. so i decided to ask him about the new p plate laws and my plates are say... 1/4 covered, lengthwise, i dont have a camera so i cant post any pics. But he said they're covered a bit but they should be fine. well basically my p plate is covered by the number plate just over the speed limit, so that might give u an indication.

plus a quick convo with the cop
                      popo: is this your car?
                      me: yeah
popo: how many litres is it?
                      me: 1.8
popo: nice nice, is it turbo?
                      me: nah its n/a
                      popo: excuse me?
                      me: naturally aspirated
                      popo: come again?
                      me: ITS NON TURBO!
popo: okay good on ya mate, bye.

I don't get why people put them inside....is it cool to put them inside? As for putting it outside, just slip it under the number plate. Don't use magnetic ones, i had one that melted onto the paint.
