Nothing in the 10k range will really compare with the DC2R.
IMO better off buying an econo-box whilst you recover fiancially and then when you bounce back you can get another DC2R or something better.

Seriously as tempting as a CRX is, I would not bother with anything that old unless you have to time to pour into working on it. Buy something newer like a 2nd hand jazz.
