Japanese PS3

Hi guys, quick couple of questions -

We are in Japan right now and wondering if we purchase mobile phone & Playstation 3 would they work in Australia?

Thanks and sorry if this has been covered before, but I am at an internet cafe and internet time is not a luxury here.

ps3 yes, mobile no unless you are with 3g

ps3 will work with games only, or if you buy blue ray video with region free because it will only work with japanese region

isnt japan 110v or something too, so youll need a voltage convertor

im sure the power supply with the PS3 is auto adjusting - check if you can see on the power supply showing 110~240v

I Just returned from my holiday in japan not long ago.
ps3 is very cheap especially with our aussie dollar being so strong (roughly 100 yen = $1 AUD)

ps3 roughly costs just over $600

games are universal, but movies will not be. japan = region 2 and australia = region 4.

buy your ps3 in japan...then online register it under australia and sony will send you a copy of casino royale blue ray video.... it's no region too
