I've was so excited about this (a year ago ), I went and read the books and everything. (Le Guin is really good btw. The books are great! They're children's books.)

What is it like FunkyR? Is Goro's (the "younger" Miyazaki) work alot different to Hayao's??

....Also....don't know if you guys have heard, but the next project, Ibard is already underway.... Miyazaki (Hayao) will be producing it. ....Sigh so slow here on Australian front. . .

My brother downloaded a version of Gedo Senki off his friend's computer....but it turned out to be PORN and I was scarred for life...

But yeah..want to. watch. argh.

The new "Iblard" thing is strange. From what I can gather, it's like an ongoing project by Mr. Inoue (Whisper of the Heart) and he created this imaginary world (called Iblard) where everyone can contribute...it's a bit strange, but I see a lot of it (& Miyazaki's work) very connected through kind of Shinto symbolism...but..yeah. Basically Hayao Miyazaki is producing a (kind of) narrative/anime that travels through this guy's "Iblard" world thing..I THINK.

I could be very very wrong, so if anyone knows otherwise, I would be glad to stand corrected.
