First you should probably start with what is the purpose of building your motor.. eg, street, drag, circuit racing, etc..

There are many avenues you can pursue when it comes to making more power. The B18C7 is a great platform to start with.

As Felix has said, you need to have an idea of what you are building it for. Is it a tuff street car, circuit car ir drag car. Also will you be building it naturally aspirated or going to a supercharger or turbocharger.

Once you have made a decision, you then need to think about what budget you have to play with and what supporting mods will also be required.
