Has anyone invested into digital currency like Bitcoin (BTC)?

When I started to look into at the beginning of the year, it was pretty low in value.. now it's worth ~$1200/BTC!

I think the boat may be missed for Bitcoins, if you bought it earlier on you'd be pretty happy though!

But there are a lot of stories about people getting their coins stolen such as that "online bank" that got hacked.

Seems very sketchy that bitcoin. Used on sikroad and other ill products anf services

they were like 10-15 when it first started!

was a story of some guy maxing his credit card when they were still cheap then sold them later on

i rather go gamble at the casino as it stacks up alot "betteR" than these highly risk weighted investments. best thing about gambling is no brokerage, and incredibiily high liquid/accessibility of funds.

I actually didn't read the convo but it did trigger creating this thread here.

If I invested when I first heard about BTC earlier this year from a friend.. then I would have $$, but it wasn't the right time for me. Oh well.

I invested in a few Litecoins (LTC) now and holding onto it to see how it goes.
