hi guys,
im also an amateur photographer. im currently using and in the process of stealing my fathers d50 that makes me the 3rd nikon user on here
im in the process of looking to upgrade either the body or the lense and undecided at the moment. so im going to rather lean to use the camera properly and photoshop. does anybody know of courses to do or would recomend and what they teach you.
oh btw they cameras damn tough. i was just in thailand and happend to fall of a motorbike with the camera on my back. she hit the gound along with me and is still PERFECT except for the sand in the lense, which you can here when you zoom in and out

Well I would start by finding the user manual for the D50 and reading that, familiar yourself with camera, then it's best to visit a site such as this; http://www.dpreview.com/learn/ , the rest is up to you to practice, practice, practice.
Post some pics up for critique, in not time you'll find yourself improving quite quickly.
Oh if you want to bring the D50 to be serviced and cleaned, I recommend Poraday in Bondi.

Hi, I also having been using a Canon 20D for about 2 years now and have a few good accesories for it. Looking at a lens in the 400mm + range atm.
Thinking about the 100-400L as I don't want a prime in that range.
Perhaps the 300 f/4 as I have a 1.4x TC II.
