Guys,

I wanna play age of empires 3 lol. The comaptability reads:

- SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS -

- Windows XP or higher 256 MB RAM / Windows 7 (Home Premium version with XP Compatibility Option)

- 1.4 GHz processor

- 4.5 GB free hard disk space

- Video Card: 64 MB with support for

hardware transformation and lighting

- Online/Multiplayer Requirements: 56K

dial-up internet access or LAN

Can i play this if my Winddows is WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM? I really dont understand the "with XP Compatibility Option"?

You probably have Windows XP Home Premium, in which case, you should be all right so long as you meet the minimum 1.4ghz, 4.5gb hard drive, and 64mb vid card...

If your game has trouble running, you can always right click the executable, go to the compatibility tab, and select "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" from the dropdown box and just choose whatever operating system you use.

Do you have windows home premium Vista correct?

If so yes you can, Run the game as normal and as mentioned above if it doesn't run correctly, exit and right click the .exe (file that opens game) click options or properties and choose 'run this program in compatibility mode XP' or something amongst those lines.

Yeah it will still run fine, it says "Windows XP or Higher".

Install it, and if you have problems running it, change it's compatibility in the properties like I and Flippit said. =]

Oh...
No i have Windows 7.
The game will load but you will most likely have to alt+tab out and then re-enter back in.
I think from memory.
Mine kept playing up on, colours and s*it...
I still play it but can be a nuisance.
