Mums's WRX CS9 Paint Revival!

Howdy,


Mums car is 4 years old now (with only 39k kms) and it has been washed weekly since new but never polished or waxed or even clayed it! After i washed it on the weekend i come to relise it was in pretty bad shape so spent most of today bring it back to life!

Wasn't the best day to take photos of the car, beautiful all week and today pisses down,
BUT, That didn't stop me! After a full polish and wax its best to wash the car again, removing any excess polish/wax
So....thats what i did!






It will most likely rain tomorrow, oh well!

Meguiars Clay bar Kit - INFO

Meguiars Deep Crystal Polish (wasn't entirely happy with this) - INFO

Meguiards Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax (very happy with this) - INFO

Then a bunch of Microfibre clothes!

I think i always avoided it cause it was a black car and i thought oh its garaged it will be fine, but didn't really notice how bad it was till last week!

Meguiars Deep Crystal Polish (wasn't entirely happy with this)

Hey im just wondering, why are you not entirely happy with it? I found it doesn't really cut so its safe for newer cars, so is this why?

Also the carnuaba wax works really well. Even in the rain, the water just beads off my car.

Crystal polish wasn't happy for exact reason you said, Didn't cut enough. Because of the sun damage it needed more OOMPH in it!

The wax was great, i washed the car straight after and the water just ran straight off the paint! The Meguairs NXT Tech wax (purple stuff) is even better again IMO.

Meguairs NXT Tech wax is for ballers lol. I might get that next or try Mothers carnuaba wax. But i find that even though its kinda expensive the bottle does last a while even when i wax my car after every wash.
