im bacpacking the states next may...doing it alone...should be intersting

states is awesome, you'll have a fat time, i havn't back packed it, but have spent a bit of time travelling around over there

yeah few of us were meant to go but neva happnd

but meh that wont stop me i reckon u enjoy it more when ur out of ur comfort zone and forced to do things which u normally wouldnt do

not really i guess the main cities everyone goes to...going to be landing at ny so thinking of road tripping along the shore to miami , la, san franscisco, seattle etc

but i definitley wanna check out the grand canyon and the everglade swamp!

oooh and ofcourse gotta go visit the crsx shop LOL
wouldnt mind seeing a meet or 2 either!

NY, by far my fav city, give youself as much time as possible there,so much to see and do and the days really seem to fly buy there, stay as close to midtown as you can afford, or at least stay close to a subway station

only been as far south as DC on the east coast, if your into monuments and museums have a look, not really my thing though

grand canyon is a must, try and get to the south rim if you can

vegas is also a mustsecond fav city

LA is a shithole

SF is nice, fare bit to do and easy to get round, careful where you stay though, has some real dodgy areas very close to tourist areas

besides that, i really liked chicago, found san diego awesome, and yosemite national park was fantastic to, good in may to, waterfalls should still be rageing from the the snow melt,

do u think 20g is enough for 15 weeks??

i'll be staying in backpackig places most the time, and iv heard food is pretty cheap but i do wanna live it up in terms of entertanment and sightseeing!!
