just thought I would take the time to introduce myself before I pillage all the information I can find from here- looks to be plenty of it by first glance...
Owner of an 01 DC2R in yellow. Had it for around 6 months now and I absolutely love it. Came from a mildly modified Subaru Liberty B4 and a raft of other machinery prior but in terms of pure driving enjoyment the Honda has won me over. In much the same vein as that Evo article with the NSX and the DC2, its the way it delivers the fun of something that costs ten times as much. Not the fastest thing I have driven, street or track, nor the most comfortable or sophisticated but it certainly brings the biggest smile to my face!
Car is stock apart from a CAI and some minor stereo add-ons (previous owner). All I have done is upgrade the brake fluids, pads, plugs and a few minor cosmetic things as well as a set of RT615's (love them!). Not much else I really want to do aside from a set of shocks/coilovers, new discs and lines and thats about it.
One question I would like to ask is does anyone know the best Honda wreckers around? Im after a set of tail lights. Previous owner must have had a minor bingle and replaced one tail light and now the tint on one is darker than the other...not much but it annoys me...
