Project Covid - Hi from Sydney

    Hi All,

Nice to Meet you, Name is Alex and just picked up a 2000 DC2 Type r Milano Red, Purchased it off the 3rd owner who has had it since 2008.
Managed to track down previous owner as well which is a good bonus knowing the cars full history.

I have all the logbooks and service history and timing belt done 4 years ago (4000km ago)

Car has been sitting for the last 4 years, and now it is time to bring it back to its former glory.

    Modifications include:
    1. Buddyclub Catback
    2. Liverpool exhaust headers
    3. Spoon Strut brace

Im sure ill be on the hunt for parts, so get used to see the name PS:Anyone got a DC2 steering wheel they want to sell in good condition?

Hopefully can catch up soon all.

Attached is some progress shots. Its been 2 Weeks since I have picked her up.

      - Found a set of OEM rims with the original colour to remove the old tacky black rims.
      - Clean up Engine bay (Need to fix Stud in engine block snapped) Anyone got the original nuts?
      - Polished the whole car, still will need a few more goes but its come up a lot nicer.
-Steering wheel will be sent off this week to a guy called (Peter Scott) he refurbs them to new oem condition.

Still got a big to do list. Will post updates shortly

It's getting harder by the day to be able to purchase a DC2R so great work on the acquisition! Love the Mugen intake
